HRSA Rural Residency Planning and Development Program
Extended to March 25
The purpose of this grant program is to develop new rural residency programs or Rural Training Tracks (RTT) in family medicine, internal medicine, and psychiatry to support expansion of the physician workforce in rural areas. The new rural residency programs are intended to be sustainable through separate public or private funding beyond the three-year grant period of performance. This program is a collaboration between the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and the Bureau of Health Workforce at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The original deadline of March 4 has been extended to March 25.
